Returns & Exchanges

Products may be returned unopened & in salable condition within 30 days of purchase, receipt required. Consignment, clearance, & special orders are not returnable.


Frequent Shopper Loyalty Program
No cards to lose, no deadlines, no hassle! 

• All information is kept in-house. We call you for special orders and can look up past purchases.
• You get a point for every dollar you spend. When you hit 300 points, you get a $10 loyalty credit.
• It will apply the following month, then continue to accumulate the points left over. No expiration dates.
• To ensure you get your points, make sure you tell us you’re a regular and give your name each time.
• Consignment items don’t count toward the points.
• Returns are deducted from your loyalty points.
• Points are assigned based on the price you pay. Sales or reduced-price items receive the reduced-price points.
• Points have no cash value. They can’t be used to purchase gift cards or redeemed for cash.
• Previous purchases don’t count. Only current and future purchases apply.

 

Privacy
Your information and trust are priceless. We never sell or give away your information to anyone, ever. When we use your credit card, your information stays in our system just long enough to process through. We do not hold onto any credit card information.

Payment Methods
Visa, Master Card, Discover, American Express, cash, check. Any check must have an address and phone number on it (handwritten is OK) and license ID accompanied. If any check is returned, a $25 return fee applies. Our credit card terminal also accepts tap and pay as well as most of the phone apps.

Special Orders
If we don't have it, we can likely get it! We order often and from many different vendors.

The best way to ensure a successful outcome: give us the brand and the name of what you are looking for. "The stuff in the green - or was it purple? - bottle I bought 15 years ago in VT" doesn't count. Often, different brands have very similar-sounding products, so just the name won't work. 

Sometimes, we can't get what you want, no matter what. Sale or import is banned. The product is no longer made. The source is so dodgy, there's no way in heck we will deal with them. Or the brand changed its name or the product name. Give us an old bottle and we will see what we can find. No guarantees, but we will search.

Special orders require prepayment and may take a few days to come in, depending on the source.

Shipping
Anywhere in the USA. We have had packages go as far as Alaska and as close as southern CT. Ask at the shop for details.

Green Statement
We constantly look for new ways to reduce our footprint - carbon & otherwise.We repurpose all of our shipping containers and recycle as much as possible. 99% of all interior lights are LED & CFL. Three are fluorescent. The central air-heat is a 96% efficiency Heil unit. The lifetime metal roof has a full thermal underlayment that reduces cooling and heating costs. Programmable thermostats create zones and are kept below 68 degrees winter and above 73 degrees in summer. Mowing is kept to a minimum and butterfly sanctuaries encouraged.
